Readiness for Change
Is this the right moment for you to start this intensive program?
Are you ready?
I do not want to waste your time or money. Your OCD symptoms will not improve if all you do is spend one hour a week talking to a therapist. Therapy for OCD is not a passive experience. You must be willing to carve out around two hours a day every day to work on the exercises I will be giving you. While I will be checking in with you on a daily basis giving you encouragement and instruction, you have to be willing to make this kind of time and energy commitment.
There are different stages of readiness for change. Precontemplation is when you aren’t even thinking about going through the process of change. Since you are reading this website, it is safe to say that you are past this stage (unless you are reading this hoping to convinced a loved one to get help). At this point, you are probably in either the contemplation or preparation stage. In the contemplation stage, you are wandering what the process of change would look like. How much time will it take? How hard will it be? That is what this website is for! I hope to let you know what treatment would look like for you.
Making Plans
In the preparation stage, you are getting ready to start the journey. You can talk with your support system to let them know that you are going to start treatment and want their encouragement. You can start carving out time in your daily schedule to make room for the exercises and activities that you will do as part of the treatment.

“It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.”
